Smarter Balanced Parent Information Night

I will be holding a Smarter Balanced Parent Information Night on Wednesday, April 19th at 6:00 in the Cove. Families with students in grades 3-6 are encouraged to attend. The Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBA) is an annual measure of student growth in English language arts and mathematics typically administered in Spring. Please come on Wednesday, April 19th and learn how you can help your student at home prepare for this high stakes test.

Spring Break Test Kits

Fremont USD schools will be on Spring Break starting Friday, April 7th through Sunday, April 16th with school resuming on Monday, April 17th. We will be sending home two COVID-19 test kits to every child and staff member at Cabrillo before Spring Break.

Volunteering at Cabrillo

We invite parents to volunteer in the classroom. Before we can accept you as a volunteer, you will need to complete a CiviCore Application. When you volunteer on campus, you must:

  • Sign in and out using our digital system for processing volunteers

  • Wear a visitor badge at all times

  • Remain under the supervision of a site employee (teacher) for the duration of your visit

FUSD CiviCore Volunteer Application

Well Cabrillo, We are finally (fingers crossed) exiting the rain, snow, and wind that have bedeviled us for the past three months. Good news for Spring Break: A forecast of warm sunny days nearing 80 degrees. Finally!
