Cabrillo Vaccination Event - December 17, 2021
Posted 12/9/21

Good Morning and Happy Sunday Cabrillo Families,
A Return to a Monthly Sunday Chat
It has been some time since I turned to this medium to communicate with the Cabrillo Community. My last Sunday Message was recorded June 6, 2021 and provided information on returning and picking up materials at the end of a year of Distance Learning. I am very happy this channel is no longer my sole means of communication with our Cabrillo Families. I enjoy greeting families in the morning and saying goodbye at the end of the day as cars exit the horseshoe.  The students have been thriving in an environment of social interaction with teacher guidance and peer support.

Vaccination Event - December 17, 2021
I have some important news to share with you about an upcoming event. On Friday, December 17 from 2:00pm - 6:00pm in the Cabrillo Cove, Cabrillo is partnering with Bay Area Community Health (BACH) to provide COVID-19 vaccines free of charge. The vaccinations include:

  • Low dose Pfizer vaccines to children 5 years through 11
  • First, second and booster doses are also available for 12 and older

In order to ensure this Vaccination Event runs smoothly and provides the maximum number of vaccinations in the four hour window, BACH is requesting that families register in advance. To do so, go to https://bit.ly/CabrilloElementary.  BACH asks that I remind you that:

  • Everyone must wear a mask
  • Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent to be vaccinated
  • Walk-ups are accepted, but registration is highly recommended to help reduce your wait time

If you need help registering for the vaccination, our Community Liaison Sara Portillo is here to help you.
