Good Afternoon and Happy Sunday Cabrillo Families,

Building Connections
My son Sam had the weekend off from work so we spent the weekend building shelves in a closet in the Cabrillo Cove. Spending time together doing projects is a precious gift and I’m lucky to have a son like Sam with whom I enjoy working on all types of projects. Early in the pandemic we worked on his sports car and my truck in our garage when our lives were confined to the household. Here we are a year later building shelves as we get ready for next year.  Mrs. Lee, our intervention specialist, will organize the math manipulatives in the closet which will be accessible to your student’s teacher. I look forward to next year when groups of Cabrillo kids once again enter the Cove to work in small groups refining their mathematical skills.
