Principal Thornley’s Weekly Video Message, Week 15, Distance Learning
Posted 11/26/20

Good Morning and Happy Thanksgiving Cabrillo Families,

I encourage you to give your student a much needed break from their chromebooks this week. This is a great opportunity for our Cabrillo Kids to observe what is going on in their household. Take time to read, play board games, or spend endless hours drawing. They deserve a break from the  rectangular classroom of one.

Virtual Town Hall
Superintendent Cammack will be holding a series of virtual town hall meetings over the next two weeks addressing school finances. The Washington Attendance Area meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, December 8 at 6pm. He will be sharing the forecast for a budget deficit over the next two years. This is your opportunity to provide feedback regarding potential budget balancing solutions.
To participate in the virtual town hall, use the Google form linked above and here if you would like to submit your thoughts about the budget. Members of the public may join the virtual town hall on Tuesday, December 8 by registering through the Zoom Webinar link (limit of 500 attendees) Please click on this link to register/join the Zoom Webinar. Please watch the virtual town hall on the Live Stream.
