Principal Thornley’s Back to School Night Presentation
Your Awesome Cabrillo Teachers!

What Technology is my Student Using

Good Morning Cabrillo Families,

I would like to start today’s message off with a happy birthday wish to my mother who turned 84 years young today. Our families are up in Sonoma celebrating my sister-in-law’s 60th as well as my mom’s birthday this weekend. Happy Birthday Ladies!

Cabrillo held its annual Back to School Night on Tuesday, September 15th. Your teachers prepared presentations detailing their weekly schedules for live “synchronous” instruction as well as the asynchronous plans they have every day. Families also learned about plans for assessing students which will be reported three times a year on our standards-based report cards. And so much more!

If you were unable to attend my presentation, I recorded it again before leaving for the weekend. I would also like to direct you to the actual presentation linked above which has links to important documents as well as a link to a series of teacher biographies. If you need a copy of your teacher’s presentation, please do not hesitate to either reach out to your student’s teacher or myself.
